The mission of Arizona Beta Sigma Phis Against Domestic Abuse, Inc. is to support domestic violence programs in the State of Arizona. The organization will conduct annual fundraising events with the proceeds being donated to one or more domestic violence programs. The Executive Director and Governing Board of the domestic violence programs shall determine how these funds will be utilized.
AzBSPADA was formed in 1999 as an all volunteer, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization to unite concerned citizens committed to alleviating the devastating effects of domestic abuse and to increase public awareness about these issues.
Through our fundraising efforts we provide funds for expenses not covered by traditional funding, such as transportation and medical expenses.
Membership in AzBSPADA is open to all individuals and organizations interested in and committed to volunteerism and the purposes of this organization. Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month, January through November, at the Parkwood Plaza, 5501 N. 19th Ave., Phoenix, AZ., Room #200.
"Volunteers are the only human beings on the face of the earth who reflect this nation’s compassion, unselfish caring, patience and just plain love for one another." Erma Bombeck.
